What Are Skill Cards?

Skill cards represent learned abilities, relationships, and defining experiences. These cards belong to the Spirit Aspect, representing skills, knowledge, and mundane capabilities.

You can choose any combination of Skill cards for the four elective slots in your starting deck.

The Seven Skill Types

🎭 Type: CLUB

The Social Circle • Your People • Found Family • Community • The Ones Who Matter • Where You Belong

What It Represents

Your Club card represents the people you're connected to—your social circle, your community, your found family. These are the relationships that anchor you in the world.

Example Tags

  • Main Tag: "The Downtown Crew—street artists and urban explorers"
  • Positive Tags: "Kai always has my back, no questions asked" / "Our reputation for helping locals gets us information"
  • Negative Tags: "Riley's recklessness puts us all at risk"

⭐ Type: WISH

Deep Desire • What You Want • The Dream • Driving Ambition • Heart's Longing • The Goal That Consumes You

What It Represents

Your Wish card represents what you truly want—the deep longing that drives you forward.

Example Tags

  • Main Tag: "Expose the corporation that destroyed my neighborhood"
  • Positive Tags: "Investigation skills honed by obsessive research" / "Righteous anger that fuels me when I'm exhausted"
  • Negative Tags: "Alienated friends who think I'm too consumed by vengeance"

Your Secret card represents something hidden—a truth about yourself, about your past, about something you know that others don't.

What It Represents

Your Knowledge card represents something you've trained in, studied, or practiced until you became genuinely skilled at it.

Example Tags

  • Positive Tags: "Can read and modify code most people can't comprehend" / "Built custom tools for navigating hostile digital spaces"
  • Negative Tags: "So focused on the technical I miss the human element"

⚡ Type: REBELLION

The Line You Won't Cross • Your Boundary • What You Stand Against • Core Principle • This Far and No Further • The Hill You'll Die On

What It Represents

Your Rebellion card represents your absolute boundary—the line you will not cross, the principle you will not compromise.

Your Memory card represents a significant event or period from your past that fundamentally shaped who you became.

What It Represents

Your Gadget card represents a physical object that's important to you—something you carry, something you use, something that matters beyond its practical function.

Example Tags

  • Positive Tags: "Can detect digital anomalies most scanners miss" / "Custom interface I've learned to read like a second language"
