Downtime happens at the start of each Setup Phase. When Downtime happens, players can invoke Activities by spending Cool or Trouble Points, which are gained from making Dare Rolls.
The Activities
- Explore [1]: Visit a previously explored location to learn more about it. Spend 3 Power or Roll to Seek. No Banes can arise from Explore.
- Grind [2]: Work for money. Flip a coin; on tails, gain the [Burnt Out 0] Bomb. Roll with relevant Tags, then gain one Coin per Power.
- Quest [3]: Search for wandering Netghosts to befriend.
- ∞ Connect [1]: Spend time with companions and loved ones. Spend Power equal to your relationship depth or Roll. You may convert Power to Cheer at 2:1.
- ∞ Quiet [2]: Spend peaceful time alone. Spend 3 Power (no roll) to Heal, Buff, or recover Broken Tags (1 Power per Tag).
- Mend [3]: Take care of yourself. Spend 3 Power or Roll to Heal, Buff, or recover Broken Tags (1 Power per Tag).
- Investigate [2]: Look into unsolved mysteries. Spend 3 Power or Roll to Seek. All rolls during Investigate are Risky.
- Shop [1]: Use shop services.
- Train [2]: Refine your skills. Mark one Potential freely, or Roll and spend Power to gain additional Potential (2 Power per Potential).
- ∞ Wander [2]: Wander aimlessly. Roll 1d8 and do that activity.
- ∞ Link Event [2]: Spend meaningful time with someone, deepening your bond. This triggers a Bond Scene.
- Extra [X]: Make stuff up with your Facilitator.
